I am a San Francisco Bay Area Artist who works mainly in acrylics and mixed media. I grew up in New Orleans and received a BFA from Tulane University. Additionally, I studied at Parsons School of Design in Paris. It was there that I found my deep love for landscape painting and my expressionist style.
As I evolved as an artist, my style has become more abstract. Instead of painting from a scene or picture, I have become an intuitive painter, painting what I feel.
For me there is a real parallel between emotion and art. Taking my life experiences and expressing it on to a canvas is my way of working through all things. Sometimes my works are associated with my favorite people, nostalgia, or change and renewal. They are mostly images based in nature, specifically landscapes and flowers.
